70% Wool (Jacob) 30% Alpaca - Yumi

As local as it gets, fleece from our own sheep! Yumi is a Jacob sheep, a small, primitive breed known for having multiple horns (up to 6!). 

This year, we blended Yumi's fleece with 30% alpaca, to soften it a bit as well as to make her small fleece go farther. The yarn is decidedly still 'rustic', suitable for outerwear, or other hard-wearing items.
