100% Wool - Rideau Arcott - Worsted 3 ply

These skeins of heavy worsted weight yarn are spun from locally sourced Rideau Arcott sheep's wool. The yarn is sturdy yet soft, with bouncy elasticity. 

This was an experiment with Indigo dye. Indigo is a natural, plant based dye that takes quite a bit of time over several steps to prepare for and complete the dyeing process. These skeins are a soft blue, with subtle variations to the depth of colour throughout.
